Coming Soon – The Re-Fashion Hub

In June 2024, Barnardo’s will be launching The Re-Fashion Hub at our Bradford Superstore. The Re-Fashion Hub is Barnardo’s first ever space dedicated to repair, treatment, and upcycling of textile donations.

Whilst Barnardo’s tries to resell all textile donations received from our supporters, there are unfortunately sometimes items that are not in resalable condition whether that be due to stains, tears, missing buttons, a loss in elasticity or whatever else. The Re-Fashion Hub gives volunteers the opportunity to fix these items by either simply giving them a wash and steam or, transforming them into completely new, one-of-a-kind items using the sewing machines which were donated to the hub by Singer.

Are you interested in sustainable fashion? Do you have a passion for creativity? Then you could be the volunteer we’re looking for at our Re-Fashion Hub. We’re looking for creatively-minded individuals to help us transform sad rags into glad-rags.
