However, cards with glitter, foil, sequins, ribbons, plastic decorations, or musical parts can’t be recycled because they contaminate paper recycling. If your card has non-recyclable embellishments, simply tear off the decorated section and recycle the plain part - or reuse the rest for crafts or homemade gift tags.
