Donating directly to Barnardo’s high street charity shops is a simple way to repurpose your pre-loved items whist raising vital funds to support our work. When you donate to Barnardo’s, you extend the lifespan of your items and give them a second chance to shine whilst helping generate vital funds to support our work with children, young people and families across the UK.

Not only do your pre-loved donations generate much needed income to fund our work, but they also keep fashion and textiles out of landfill. By choosing to donate to your local Barnardo’s charity store, you actively participate in reducing waste whilst helping create a more sustainable future for generations to come. We make the donation process simple and convenient. Bring your pre-loved donation to one of our 500 stores. With every item you donate, you can help us support children, young people and families across the UK.

Simply complete the form below, or order them directly from the online shop: Barnardo's Postal Donation Bags. We'll send them to you straight away, and you can either drop them at your local Post Office or arrange a home collection via Barnardo's Royal Mail portal.
If you need to use your own box for a larger item, and / or would prefer to print your own shipping label, you can also do this via the Royal Mail portal. Please make sure that breakable items are well protected within the box and adhere to the maximum size and weight restrictions: Max weight 20 kg, parcel dimensions: 61 x 46 x 46 cm, tube dimensions: Length 90cm. (Length + twice the diameter must be no more than 104cm.)
