There are thousands of children in the U.K. care system waiting to be placed with foster carers or adoptive families. Barnardo’s is the largest non-profit fostering and adoption agency in the U.K. and we have over 100 years of experience placing the country's most vulnerable children with families.
We support all foster carers and adoptive parents, regardless of their marital status, gender identity, sexual orientation or age, who are looking to make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people who are desperately in need of a loving and supportive environment.
Hannah and Claire, a couple from the East Midlands, adopted their three children through Barnardo’s adoption agency. We provided them with training and support during their adoption process, and through working closely with a Barnardo’s social worker, they have provided three siblings with a loving home and a forever family.
