The cost of a Barnardo’s charity house clearance service varies and starts from £399. Our house clearance prices are transparent and tiered, based on the volume and weight of items removed. Where items can be resold through Barnardo’s shops or partners, the resale value may be deducted from your final quote. Final pricing is always confirmed after a short on-site property assessment, so you know exactly what to expect.

  • Large volumes of builder’s rubble (case-by-case basis)

Some specialists or regulated items may include a clear supplement, such as: 

  • Mattress – £25 

  • Piano or heavy specialist item – from £140

Not always. Our house clearance service can be completed without you onsite if access is arranged.

Subject to size of house clearance. At minimum, we will have 2 team members at a house clearance. Most house clearances are completed by a two-person team, although larger properties may require additional staff or vehicles. 

This will be confirmed in the quote.
