We Are Barnardos | National Event

For children, it’s small, joyful moments. For parents, it’s a constant juggle. And for families living in poverty, that pressure can become overwhelming. At Barnardo’s, we see both sides of summer. 

What is We Are Barnardo’s? 

We Are Barnardo’s is a UK-wide week where our stores, services, staff, volunteers and communities come together this summer to make sure more children feel included, supported, and part of the moments that matter. 

From 3-9 August, you’ll see activity happening across the UK in stores, in services, and in local communities.
 

What’s happening? 

• Go Green - Monday 3 August 

We’ll kick things off by wearing Barnardo’s green to show our support and create one big national moment. 

• In-store activities 

Our shops will be hosting simple, family-friendly activities from craft tables to community moments. 

• Meet the Services 

You can come in, say hello, and learn more about the support available in your area. 

• Swap Shop 

Families can swap or pick up good-quality:
